A third of ChatGPT ads appear in irrelevant conversations
Matched: ChatGPT, OpenAI
A study of over 11,000 ChatGPT ads served between July and August 2026 found that a third were entirely unrelated to the conversation they appeared in, while only 27% were a direct match.
