Oracle Issues Force Majeure Notice on Stargate’s Project Jupiter AI Data Center in New Mexico
Matched: OpenAI
Oracle issued a force majeure notice to the developer of Project Jupiter, a Stargate AI data center in New Mexico, allowing it to delay payments if the facility misses its 2028 launch target. Oracle insists the project is on schedule and it remains committed to the state. The campus has faced setbacks tied to energy supply, including pipeline delays and a pending air-quality permit for its Bloom Energy fuel cell system.
